A lifeless body of a child dumped behind a toilet of her home after alleged poisoning.

A four-year-old girl has been found dead in Thaba-nchu, Selosesha.

"Ngwanaka o phuka makweba ka dinko, she's so black. Yoh ngwanaka hleng" which translates to "my child has foam coming out of her nose, she's so black. Yoh my child" said the mother, Innocentia Finger in a devastating post about her daughter, Amogelang Finger.

The child's body was discovered early on Wednesday at 4am by the mother and community members at the child's home behind the family's toilet, the child's skin colour was reported to have changed to a darker tone and foam coming out of her nose which is alleged it was due to poisoning.

According to the child's aunt, Kgalalelo Nomonde Finger, the little girl was reported missing on Tuesday at 4pm. "My niece is missing: Amogelang Finger (4 years old) was last seen wearing beige/peach leggings and a matching top, o logile 3 lines. Location: Thabanchu, Selosesha. She was last seen playing outside in the yard, if you know or have heard anything kindly let me know even if its privately". Said the aunt in a Facebook post before the child was later discovered dead.

Soon after the post went viral, community members and police gathered in search of the child. Even though attempts of door-to-door search were made until the evening, there was no trace of the child. The child was found an hour later after community members went home in the same area where the police and community members had initially searched. It is believed that the perpetrator used that chance to return the lifeless body of the child.

Community members are still devasted and in shock of this tragic incident, one community members, Masego Derulo, a radio personality who was also involved in the search for young girl said "So ha chefu entse phuphura malanyana ao a manyane ebe seboko sa hae ne sele jwang?? Wena mmolayi onosa se utlwe??? Onosa utlwe pain nixxxx??? Ae le shwele matswalo straight" which translates to ' So when the poison was eating away the small intestine of the little girl, I wonder how the cry was, did you not hear it you murderer? did you not feel the pain murderer? you really have no empathy/fear'.

No suspects have been mentioned and no arrests have been made at this stage.
